Online Therapy

Online Therapy: An Effective, Convenient, and Confidential Option

When I work with clients, I find that it’s important to get to know you, whether it’s in person or online. Just like in-person therapy, we’ll build rapport and develop a genuine relationship through maintaining the same visual connection but in a more convenient and safe fashion. Online therapy, also known as video therapy or teletherapy, still allows you to heal and grow, and gives you even more freedom to explore your issues and yourself.

What is Online Therapy?

By now you’ve probably heard of “video chatting”, “Facetiming”, or “Zoom.” Teletherapy is a form of psychotherapy, but instead of meeting face-to-face in your therapist’s office, you meet via HIPAA compliant online video which maintains your confidentiality. It is a way for you to get the professional and therapeutic support you need from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer!

Not Sure if Online Therapy is Right For You?

I know that we’re all still adjusting to this new way of living, so it’s important to take a moment to acknowledge some concerns you may have about teletherapy. Using new technology can be challenging and uncomfortable.

Video therapy offers the same benefits as in-person therapy plus more; it’s HIPAA compliant, easy to schedule, gives you more choice when it comes to choosing a therapist that’s right for you, and best of all, you can do it from the comfort of your home!
